Goodbye Daddy

Filed under: Uncategorized — Hugsie @ 7:23 am

February 1st, 2007 at 5:35pm PST my father passed away. Not more than 5 hours ago as I write this. I watched him with the rest of my family as he slowly started to breath more shallow, heart rate slowed to nothing, and after 10 years of strokes, phenomia , kidney failure, heart attacks, and brain damage finally took him away. He was only 61 and wasn’t able to outlive his own father who died at 62, when I was just a little kid back in the 70s.

I will be putting my services on hiatus until things settle down in my real life.  I will only be logging in to chat with friends in Second Life.  I really don’t know what to expect next, and I’m actually quite frightened about what will happen in the next couple weeks, and beyond.  We all have been expecting this for a long time, but you can NEVER be prepared for it.  Now after the fact I’m not sure what’s next.  Being single really sucks in these situations.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers everyone.
