Why other Penis brands suck

I deal with a lot of cock every day, and this is one of the MAIN reasons why I’ve created my own penis and give it away for free, because frankly, MANY of the penises out there in Second Life, freebies, and retail ones, just plain SUCK.

Onduty

  • Notoriously spams channel 2 (turn on a listener some time in a big sex area, and you’ll be amazed!)
  • Bad scripting with regular run-time errors and Stack-Heap Collisions
  • no soft mode, it angles down looking broke like you snapped a wooden stick
  • HUD shows advertisements that you can’t remove w/o buying a full version

REALISM

  • Better suited for large male avatars
  • pee hole looks like a vagina
  • Ugly texture. It appears dirty, as if it was dipped in chocolate syrup

Bad@zz Photorealistic Penis

  • Does NOT look photo realistic at ALL, nor “realistic” for that matter
  • Looks like a freebie cock from 3 years ago
  • Never matches skin tone of the user, and looks very fake
  • Not sculpted
  • The base of the penis looks like it has a “knuckle” when soft.
  • Sex-Text spam when touched by others, akin to Xcite

Xcite (x2, x3)

  • Notorious for being sex-chat spammy
  • cumbersome interface for doing simple things like rotation angles and cumming
  • Looks bad when angled down, trying to appear soft. It has no true “soft” mode just get’s smaller and angles down.
  • Annoying 3rd party interactions from strangers making it do functions w/o your knowledge.
  • All these annoying aspects (chat spam, touch interactions) are not disabled by default

Dark Delights Real Penis (Ishtara Rothschild)

  • Has a “fan” of pre-angled penises so no fine control of it’s angles
  • Freebie version is either hard or soft and isn’t scripted
  • Looks similar to Freehy’s freebie penis (see below)
  • Spams messages for every function/action it does

Sculpted freebie (Freehy Korobase)

  • Another “fan” cock
  • Bad particle effect, only works on “center” penis position

VAW XTC cock

  • fucking ugly textures, looks like tree bark.
  • Penis head texture is way-way off, pee hole looks like a Moebius strip.
  • ridiculous cum texture
  • texture on the balls “band” around them resembling the planet Jupiter.

Sensations Cock (H)

  • Ugly prims
  • Wood like texture

S&S Freebie sculptie cock

  • Literally looks like a TURD with two walnuts attached to it.
  • Sculpt shape is so poorly made, you can see SEAMS like a pea pod, as if it was made from construction paper by a kindergartener.
  • Not scripted at all, doesn’t do anything at all (no hard/soft, no cum)

Brands I do like (besides mine)

  • Lotus
  • Kori (though some look like elephant trunks but looks good on most people who buy’em)
  • Sensations v2 sculptie

Healthcare is officially fucked up

This new “Baucus Bill” that was just hammered out by our Congress this past week, is a prime example of lobbyist influences and corruption, and shows how our elected officials are so isolated from the real world. According to this bill, everyone will be REQUIRED (read forced) to have health insurance, or pay a penalty.  How exactly is this going to help uninsured people who can’t afford health care in the first place?  This doesn’t change anything, but force people to pay for something they can’t afford already.  I’m sure insurance company execs shot a huge wad when they saw this new bill, since it will give them more business.  Maybe this could lead to more jobs to be had at insurance companies?  Either way it’s a good time to buy stock in insurance companies.

This sounds a lot like how in California all drivers are forced to have car insurance.  But at least you can choose not to drive a car, and therefore you won’t be forced to have car insurance.  However everyone ALIVE is going to be forced to pay health care insurance, or just go and die. Sure there will be provisions for people who can’t afford health care to get that, but that isn’t the so-called public option, and it’s really no diffrent from the system we already have now, but worse!

Insurance companies don’t want a public “single payer” option, since they won’t be able to compete with it and go out of business.  People talk about how we should open this into a free market, and let companies compete for better services and prices, but this bill isn’t doing that.  If anything this bill was practically written by health care insurance so they can be shovel-fed more money from people who are already too broke to buy health insurance in the first place.

This is not health care reform, this is just reinforcing how fucked up it already is.

Smudges on my 37″ Westinghouse LCD LVM-37w3

I own a 37″ Westinghouse LCD monitor, model # LVM-37w3 which I’ve had for about 3 years now. For about 3-4 months I’ve noticed these dark smudges on my HD LCD monitor.  It is an HD monitor, not a Television since it doesn’t have a TV tuner, nor does it have speakers.  It does accept audio in with RCA jacks for audio out.

See below for snapshots of this problem I’m having. This is not a surface scuff, or smudge of dirt otherwise it would effect all colors. It seems to be only effecting blue pixels, and colors that use blue (cyan, green, etc) since full white, full yellow, and full red won’t show this blemish (see images), unless I darken a color (like gold, and dark red).  All shades of blue will show this blemish, and shades of gray do show this smudge quite predominately.  There are also two more smaller smudge-like blemishes at the top left of the screen not shown, but they aren’t as intrusive as this one.  I really don’t know what caused this to happen. I usually use a old paint brush (never used for painting, only dusting) to dust the screen with. But I have used a screen cleaning product that comes in a spray (Monster ScreenClean) bottle that you spray onto a lint-free cloth (looks like terry cloth) and then wipe the screen with.  I’ve used this on ALL my other LCD displays (laptops, netbook, my PC’s 22″ LCD) with no problems. I  don’t think this stuff is to blame otherwise there would be smudges like this all over my screen.

If anyone can help me fix this would be greatly appreciated, I doubt I’ll be able to do anything. Unless there some sort of test pattern I can run on my monitor that will work out this problem.

250gb HDD for 360

I fucking KNEW IT!! I just bought a 120gb drive YESTERDAY, and I find out about a new Elite model that comes with a 250gb hard drive. Now this is a new model console, don’t know if they are selling the 250gb drives separately yet.  You know they will, the 120gb drives were selling soon after the Elite’s were out in the market.

Music games GALORE!

I just spend my hard earned Linden$ on Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band Beatles, Guitar Hero Metalica, and a new 120gb HDD for my 360. I also am going to redeem my free copy of Guitar Hero Van Halen but I won’t see that for another month. I ordered GH Metalica from GameFly, they have free shipping this month for non-subscribers, so I should get that some time next week.

As I type this I’m doing the  data transfer from my old 20gb HDD, to my new 120gb HDD, which is going to take another hour to finish (1 ½ to do total)  Gawd, I could just re-download all of that quicker!  So I gotta wait before I can pop in my games and rock out with my cawk out.

Last time I bought a 120gb drive for my 360, I got it used from some website (via Pricegrabber), that didn’t come in it’s original packaging. It was shipped in a thin envelop (not in a box) and I knew the moment I hooked the drive up, it was going to fail, and guess what folks? (click.. click… click…) I was able to get my money back, though I had to pay to ship the thing back.

Now that I finally have a 120gb drive for my 360 console, I just know Microsoft will announce a larger model.  It really does seem like a rip-off considering I’m paying MORE than $1 per gigabyte. I’ve bought 1TB hdd’s for less money for my PC.  They don’t get any bigger than 120’s for any console it seems. Sony PS3’s are just now getting 120gb drives in their slim units, though you can hack-in any kind of hard drive into the older PS3 from what I understand.

I’ve not found any legitimate hacks (oxymoron) for putting in a larger hard drive into a 360, which you’d think would be REALLY easy to do since they are detachable, but since I have an old 20gb 360 drive I don’t really need anymore, maybe I can hack that into a 500gb drive or something?  To bad I can’t just hook my old drive into a USB port and have it be treated like a memory unit (mu).  Or hook it into a PC and use it as an external storage (I could if removed the drive from the case and used a laptop/usb adapter). I bet I can find websites that will let me hack these old drives to do something.  Though i might just save it in case I buy an arcade 360, or a used/referb 360 with no HDD.

Oh hey 45mins left on this transfer!

UPDATE:

You can use the transfer cable on your old 20gb HDD and hook it to your PC and use it like an external hard drive, as long as the USB port gives it full power to spin the drive.  Though to use it on your 360 as a USB storage device, you have to format it FAT32. When you first connect the drive it won’t show anything since it’s partitioned and formatted weird to your PC, so just partition and format it, you’ll only get 16.8gb from it, which is about as much as a normal USB thumb drive offers, but probably a bit faster.

I formatted the old 20gb drive NTFS and tossed on a few files on root (mp3 and two jpgs). Then put it back on my 360’s drive bay and started it up. I was assuming the 360 was going to balk at the drive for whatever reason, but it saw it normally, but didn’t see the files I put on it. The 360 has a format function, but when you try to do it it asks for your consoles serial number… which I find ODD.  The serial numbers are VERY long, so I guess it’s to avoid accidental formats from your kids screwing around when you’re not paying attention.

Bing Sucks

I have been using Bing as my default search and start page for about two months, and it just doesn’t feel right. But I’m switching back to Goggle.  Most of the time I’m looking up definitions for words and proper spellings, but Bing doesn’t support the [define: <word>] function like Google does. And doesn’t always “suggest” what word you meant to write when you can’t spell it proper.  Bing is just not as intuitive as Google.  Now perhaps Bing DOES have a [define:] function but I’m not aware as to what it is.  I’ve yet to see a “Hack Bing” page that explains all the advanced search tricks and tools like we all have seen for Goggle in the past five+ years.

Blue Mars bore

I got an invite into Blue Mars, and I don’t like it so far.  The UI is cumbersome, controls behave slow, and i can’t even maximize the window.  I can’t tell if I’m chatting or walking.  Walking is cumbersome with a constant audible chime that you here every time you take a step.  It also uses CHAT BUBBLES which brings back nightmares from there.com.  It’s cute but you’re gonna miss nearly everything people say if you’re not looking at them.  it’s hard to express how frustrating this game is.

Sure sure it’s BETA but but for fucks sake, didn’t any of the other MILLINONS of video games from over the past 15 years of 3D games give the devleoper of Blue Moon a CLUE as to how NOT to make a cumbersome UI and control setup?  Why does it seem like every time some developer creates a new virtual world they have to essually IGNORE how other simular games/services function?  So they have to start from ground zero and start with the most akward and cumbersome UI and controls ever.

When i was setting up my avatar’s apperance on the WEB PAGE, I sware to GOD I chose to have RED hair, and when I came into world, I was a blonde.  There are virtually NO customizations to your avatar, other than a small handful of hairstyles, and clothes.  You can’t even alter the shape and appearance of your avatar.  Everyone has exactly the same body type.  The only big-deal thing you can do is customize your face, add all kinds of make up effects, as well as draw on warpaint.

There’s this place called the “waterfall level” it’s a lush tropical island with waterfalls all over the place.  It’s very pretty.  You’re sitting in a flying craft that bascailly hovers.  Again this is where the controls fall so short that you’d think that other flight sims were never created before.  Or at least the developers of Blue Mars never played other flight sim games.

When on foot, there is no camera control, which is very there.com like.  But at least with there.com the camrea follows your avatar in a predictable way as any 3rd person game does.  In this you you can turn  and steer your avatar around the world as it walks but your camera view is fixed in whatever direction it was left in.  I’ve not tried first person yet but considering how clueless the developers of Blue Mars seem to be they will likely mess that all up and ignore status quo.  Sure it uses WASD for most of the avatar navigation, but not your camera view.

It has a lot to work to be done on to even come close to even the level of UO.  Graphically it’s nice, UI is rather ufly, some issue with text, and the controls are just gives me a headache. It’s a shame that the developers of Blue Mars seem have to ignore the features, functions, and progress already made by other MMOs and videogames, and have to start at ground zero.  If this truly BETTER than SL, then why isn’t it?

XstreetSL

My spaking new Freebie Penis (v3) has been out for about a week now. I recently posted it as a freebie on XStreetSL and it’s already gotten a 4.3 star rating!  I’m also starting to create my own content to sell on Xstreet, as well as vendos in Morken.  XStreet is a great way to get your products out there and to make some money, and it’s FREE to use! The only thing you really have to spend on is if you want any promotions for your sales to appear on the front page when you get onto XstreetSL.

This is a lot better than the auctions that there.com has that nickels and dimes you for every little thing you post for sale.  You have to pay a wholesale fee for EVERY copy made, meaning if you want to give it away for FREE, you still have to pay for EACH copy you give away.  Auctions on there.com don’t last for ever, at most a couple months.  Xstreet items remain online indefinably, which can lead to things getting very cluttered. Xsteet does take a 5% cut from every sale, which I find reasonable considering they give me an online store front that lasts forever for free!

Couple of problem with XstreetSL that bug me is that I constantly have to keep re-logging in. It apparently can’t REMEMBER me if I close my browser and open it up again and go back to Xst.  But what’s EXTREMELY annoying is I have to CONSTANTLY keep telling it to enable mature content, so  I can just see the things I’m selling!  Maybe it doesn’t like FireFox or something?  They really need to re-do the web design at XStreetSL and make it more intuitive, and smart enough so i don’t have to keep doing the same things over and over and over.

Another thing XstreetSL needs to do is do away with the separate money balance.  You still have to depost money into XStreetSL before you can buy anything. Also when you sell items the L$ dosen’t drop into in-game L$ balance as you do with all other transactions.  You have to go onto the XStreetSL website and withdraw.

Green Life Emerald Wish List

I love Emerald, it has so many great features that I actually use!  But there’s always room for more things to add to it.  Here’s my Wish List:

  • Ability to activate a group by double clicking it on your groups list, INSTEAD of it opening group chat window, which I rarely need to use.
  • A real color picker, that works on ANYTHING on screen (i.e. avatars), not just whatever RGB values an object was given, while ignoring it’s texture.
  • 64bit viewer for Windows and Linux
  • Better pop-up spam protection so my viewer doesn’t lag to the point of uselessness
  • More robust mute function so the viewer disregards EVERYTHING (objects/scripts) owned by the muted avatar (read griefer)
  • Ability to export LMs as SLURLs and have it available on the login screen so I login to said locations.
  • Ability to log out of SL with out the viewer closing, so you can do a quicker relog, or login with a different avatar.
  • Able to abort a login with out having to Quit the viewer.
  • Support for flexi sculpts and other prim shapes (cool viewer)
  • When inspecting an object, don’t disable the “flycam” (allowing you to freely control your camera as you normally would)
  • Hot-key to toggle double-click teleports.  Often I double click on UI menus and end up teleporting! hate that!

Well that’s all I can think of ATM.  The only problems with Emerald I’ve been having is running two instances or more (-multiple) though it might be due to Windows 7 (64) and how it handles memory as well as video memory.  Often I get messages from the video drivers (nvidia) saying it’s recovered from some kind of failure. Usually results in the Viewer being totally useless, so I have to force to close/kill the app.
